Bartek Czyczerski

President of the Management Board

Bartek has connected businesses and people with the European agenda for 20 years. He has done this in multiple roles, as diplomat and civil servant, first managing director Business & Science Poland, senior advisor in the climate think-tank and consultant (i.a. for EY and Forward Global). He has worked in policy areas of international trade and economic relations as well as the EU Green Deal agenda. As a diplomat, Bartek participated in the EU inter-institutional negotiations from the working level to the involvement of EU leaders. He has been a member of multiple EU bodies and advised political hierarchy and represented national interests within the EU institutions. When working for the Polish government Bartek led the national policy on EU trade legislation, anti-dumping and represented the government in domestic litigations related to international trade. Bartek has been a regular speaker on European affairs at conferences, events, in media, in the national parliament. His publications appeared in Euroactiv, Global Journal on International Trade and Customs, Rzeczpospolita and Monitor of Customs. President of the Management Board since July 2024

Witold Strzelecki

Managing Director

Witold is a seasoned EU expert with more than 15 years of experience in EU Affairs, Public Affairs and strategic communication, advising major Polish and global companies – among others – from the energy and transport sectors, as well as managing teams of consultants and executing various advocacy projects at EU level. Before joining BSP, Witold was a Director in one of the leading international EU consultancies based in Brussels, focusing mostly on the European Green Deal, Fit for 55 package, Green Deal Industrial Plan, EU Industrial Strategy, international trade, and EU funding. Before, he worked at NuclearEurope (formerly known as FORATOM), the Brussels-based trade association representing the European nuclear industry (approx. 3,000 companies from the EU, Switzerland, Ukraine & UK) in discussions with EU institutions. Witold also worked for the largest Polish energy company PGE on the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Poland, as well as for major global PA/PR agencies (branches in Poland), such as Burson-Marsteller and Havas PR Warsaw with a focus on energy investments. Witold graduated from the University of Lodz (MA in International Relations) and has a postgraduate degree from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Szymon Mikulski

Director of the Board Office

Graduate of law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Opole, as well as several postgraduate courses, e.g. in personal data protection, business management and financial, budgetary and tax accounting. Previously, he gained experience by doing internships at the District Court in the Commercial Department in Opole and the Municipal Office in Zabrze in the office of legal services and information security. He also completed an internship at the European Parliament. Szymon has been a manager associated with BSP since September 2019.

Dariusz Dybka

Principal Advisor

Expert in sustainability, focused on the European Green Deal, emissions trading, decarbonization, and the impact of EU policies on consumer behavior. With a background in public administration, diplomacy, and think tanks, UNFCCC process. Legal expert, Kyoto Protocol Compliance Committee Alternate Member. After Lantos Fellowship in 2007, he joined the climate conference in Poznań, moved to Brussels for the first Polish presidency in the EU in 2011 and joined the private sector in 2018. In 2024 became a principal advisor of Business Science Poland.

Anna Maria Kaczmarek

Acting Director for European Policies

Anna-Maria Kaczmarek joined Business & Science Poland in 2020, currently as Deputy Director for European Policies in the area of European regulations, she supports the Director for European Policies and manages dossiers related to sustainable development, financing and energy transition. Based in Brussels since 2009, she has been involved in advocacy in the law-making process in an industry organization of the European steel sector, a Swedish PA and strategic communications company, a Dutch consulting firm, a law firm and in a European training center advising experts including the World Bank. Her professional experience also includes the European Parliament. She graduated in law from the University of Kard. Wyszyński in Warsaw with a specialization in European claims procedure and English literature at the Catholic University of Lublin JPII. She is a graduate of the European Academy of Diplomacy with a specialization in foreign service and completed advanced training for the European steel sector.

Joanna Jura-Kucznik

Deputy Director of the Board Office

Joanna has been associated with BSP since January 2022, currently serving as Deputy Director of the Board Office. Joanna is a law graduate at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole, where she specialized in financial and tax law. Joanna also received a master's degree in internal security and also completed a postgraduate degree in personal data protection.

Katarzyna Banaszak

Senior Policy Advisor

Specialist in European Union policies and programmes. She gained her professional experience in the field of EU legislation while working in the European Parliament. She gained knowledge of the functioning of the economy and management, among others, sitting on the supervisory board of a commercial law company and the SPZOZ social council. She holds a Master's degree in European Studies from the University of Aix-Marseille in France, and is also a graduate of the Collegium Medicum of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She expanded her knowledge in the field of economics and entrepreneurship, including studying at the Budapest Business School. In Business and Science Poland since April 2022, as a Senior Policy Advisor, he has been dealing with the issues of the EU energy transition.

Marcel Bartczak

Policy Analyst

He is a graduate of the Future Leaders programme at Royal Holloway, University of London with a BSc in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and the London School of Economics, where he obtained a Master's degree in Political Economy. He gained experience during internships at Hogan Lovells law firm and EY Polska consulting firm. Trainee “Bluebook” of the European Committee of the Regions. In the years 2021-2023, he worked as an analyst in the NGO sector, he also served as the president and vice president of the boards of foundations operating in the field of green transformation and geopolitics. He is passionate about continental philosophy and automotive. In BSP since 2023 as Junior Policy Analyst

Korneliusz Kosiba

Junior Policy Analyst

Korneliusz holds a Master's degree in Physics from Northumbria University. His thesis research focused on next-gen photovoltaic materials. During his studies, he was active in various initiatives, including leading the university’s MUN society. He gained experience during a year-long internship with the EU Special Representative for Central Asia at the European External Action Service, where he supported work on a wide range of EU foreign policy issues in the region, such as security, energy, and transport. Combining technical knowledge with a geopolitical perspective, he effectively navigates complex problems at the nexus of science and policy. He joined BSP in 2024.

Piotr Rodak

Junior Policy Analyst

Piotr is a young professional in the field of public affairs and EU policy, having taken his first steps in public sector consultancy at PwC in Warsaw and then at Edelman Global Advisory in Brussels. His particular interests at work are defense, the EU enlargement process, sustainability and international trade. He is a graduate of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, where he specialized in European economic integration and the situation in the Western Balkans on the road to EU membership, and has extensive experience in social activity, having served, among others, as a Youth Delegate of Poland to the Council of Europe.

Ewa Soltysik

Communications Advisor

Ewa graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University with a degree in political science. Postgraduate studies in the field of public relations at the Józef Tischner European School. She has experience in managing projects in terms of culture, science, and media (National Centre of Culture, National Agency for Academic Exchange). She has worked at BSP since 2022 as Communications Advisor.

Wojciech Zabrzeski

Business Development Manager

Wojciech is a graduate of Northumbria University (Newcastle Business School), where he completed his Bachelor's degree in Business and Management. During his studies, he actively participated in various student initiatives such as the Congress of Polish Student Societies in the UK, Smart Prospects, and served as a Student Ambassador. Additionally, he developed his own tech start-up. Before joining the Business & Science Poland team, Wojciech worked as a Project & Product Manager at the UK branch of Booksy. He possesses skills in project management, artificial intelligence, business strategy, and business analysis, which he leverages to support development and innovation at Business & Science Poland.

Aneta Dymek

Office and Event Manager

Aneta is a graduate of Poznań University of Technology with a Master's degree in Marketing and Management. She has passionately combined office management with event organisation for years, effectively supporting business growth. She has extensive experience in leading teams and organising events - from small gatherings to prestigious large-scale events. She specialises in streamlining organisational processes and executing complex projects. As a digital marketing enthusiast, she continually hones her skills to meet the demands of a dynamic business environment.
